Women in Politics:

The Venus Transits of 1518-2012

May 28th, 2012
New Orleans, Louisiana
United Astrology Conference Presentation

4:30-5:45 p.m. Track 10 Political and Mundane Astrology
Venus transits of the Sun were considered key timing triggers of world events by the ancient Maya. The Venus transits of June 2004 and June 2012 correspond to an unprecedented rise of 23 female heads of state since 2000. Similarities to periods with strong female leaders such as the Elizabethan Era following the Venus transit of 1518 and the Victorian Era following the most recent in 1882, indicate that it is only a matter of a few years before the U.S. elects its first woman president.
